IS THE MARKET REALLY CHANGING AROUND CLIMATE CHANGE?

Axios writes that the global response to climate change is ticking up—even while the US response is not.

“The world's top economic institutions are going deeper in the fight against climate change,” AXIOS reports, “and central banks are re-evaluating policies and pushing new principles to integrate climate-related risks into financial supervision, leaving the U.S. behind.”

Is there a real systemic shift underway? Or is this another coat of green paint over more same-old, same-old?

“The big picture: While the IMF and World Bank have for years examined climate and pushed for carbon pricing, the institutions are getting more active — substantively and symbolically,” AXIOS concludes.

Next question: Is it enough?
