SAN FRANCISCO 10/24: LAUNCHING THE ORGANIZED MONEY CAMPAIGN

Tomorrow night at Manny’s in the Mission in San Francisco, Keith and I will be explaining the $1 trillion Organized Money Campaign. The bottom line is that progressive advocates and activists will not achieve their goals unless and until there is a progressive financial network working for them and not against them.

That is what Bill McKibben has started to focus on in the fight to reverse the environmental crisis. That is what community development financial institutions (CDFIs), impact investors, and socially responsible investors are working toward.

Our analysis is that we need to take a big step forward to organize these efforts and others into a positive cycle that can combine their financial strength in a market force for enduring sustainable, inclusive, and equitable changes in society, policy, culture, and markets.

Progressives have the expertise, the experience, the relationships, and the wealth to make it happen.

We hop you’ll join us for this unprecedented conversation.
